Our culture says Mother & Father are our primary Guru's. Guru is more than a teacher who moulds you in such a manner that brings the Best out of you despite leaving a part of theirs in you and still allowing you to maintain your individuality.
Guru helps introduce you to your real self to progress towards being ONE ☝🏼 with GOD(the highest self).

some people are better than me in rituals..
Some people are better than me in strength..
Some people are better than me in money..
Some people are better than me in simplicity..
Some people are better than me in intelligence..
Some people are better than me in honesty..
Some people are better in speaking behavior than me
Some people are better than me in service work..
some people are better than me in work..
Some people are better than me in seriousness..
Some people are better than me in innocence..
It means that every person is definitely superior to me in some way or the other
